BSVKey Gatherings: terms, fees and disclaimers
Effective 19 October 2026. Covers Gatherings (/gather), Paid DMs (/dm), live audio passes and the Gatherings MCP endpoint (/mcp).
By opening a gathering, buying a seat, posting a message, bidding for the stage, buying an audio pass, sending a paid DM or using any other feature, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. All fees are final. No refunds.
Every payment is final and non-refundable. This includes seat prices, message fees, stage bids, audio and video passes, image and branding fees, paid DMs, opening fees and the BSVKey service fee.
Payments are Bitcoin BSV transactions that you sign and broadcast from your own wallet. They go straight to the host, recipient or BSVKey fee address. BSVKey never holds your funds, so it cannot reverse, cancel, charge back or refund them, and neither can anyone else once a transaction is broadcast.
No refunds are given if a gathering is closed, ends early, never starts, is cancelled or rescheduled by its host, has poor or no audio, is outbid on the stage, is not attended by the host or anyone else, or if you lose access to your key, browser or device. Dollar amounts shown are estimates converted at a live exchange rate; you pay the BSV amount shown when you sign.
Nothing in these terms removes rights that the law where you live says cannot be waived.
2. Provided "as is"
The service, its code, prices, fee schedule, exchange rates, seat and stage logic, live audio, calendars, integrations and the /mcp endpoint are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, accuracy and non-infringement. Features, prices and fees can change or stop at any time without notice.
3. You accept all risk
You alone are responsible for your keys, your wallet, the transactions you sign and the amounts you pay. Lost keys, wrong amounts, failed or stuck transactions, chain reorganizations, slow or failing blockchain APIs, browser or device problems and user error can cause permanent loss. Only spend what you can afford to lose.
4. No liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the creators and operators of BSVKey are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of funds, data, profit or opportunity, arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the BSVKey service fees you paid in the 30 days before the claim.
5. Hosts, speakers and content
Hosts run their own gatherings and set their own prices, schedules, links and rules. BSVKey does not host, endorse, moderate, screen or verify gatherings, hosts, speakers, attendees, messages, images, DMs or external live links (X Spaces, YouTube, Zoom, Meet, Jitsi and similar), and is not a party to any arrangement between a host and an attendee. Any promise a host makes is the host's alone. Gatherings, messages and DMs are not professional, financial, investment, legal, tax or medical advice.
You must not use the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, harassing, sexually exploitative of minors, or that violates the rights of others. Because records are written to a public blockchain, BSVKey cannot delete them; it may hide anything from its own pages at its discretion.
6. Public and permanent
Seats, messages, bids, profiles, images, payments and the fact that one address paid another are written to the Bitcoin BSV blockchain. They are public and permanent and cannot be edited or erased. In a private gathering only what is said is encrypted; who paid, how much and when stay public. A Paid DM's text is encrypted to the recipient; the payment is public. Anyone with a private invite link can read that gathering.
7. Live audio
Live audio runs through a third-party provider (LiveKit) and is best effort. Passes are time-limited and end when they expire, when you are alone in the room for a few minutes, or when the gathering's scheduled time ends. Anyone in a call can record it with their own tools; do not say anything you would not want repeated.
8. Your obligations
You are responsible for complying with all laws, regulations and tax obligations that apply to you, including reporting income you earn as a host. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 18.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
